Whilst I was blog surfing this week I came across a blog called Copic Oz. With in the first few minutes I found a challenge to enter and a tutorial, by Mandi-Lee.. I loved the image Mandi-Lee was using in her tutorial so much the first thing I had to do was to head over to Tiddly Inks to invest in this image Wryn-Close to my heart..(and maybe a couple more shhhh!)..

Now onto the the Challenge at Copic Oz

To create a project using these colours (R46, R59, G40, BG53, BG93, BG96, E87, BV31, RV55, YR24, V20, V25) or as close as you can get...

Made for Markers is also having a challenge to use new colour combo's and due to this being colours I haven't put together I am entering it there as well.

I have used V20 and V25 for the wings but they didn't come up as dark underneath so I added C5 and C3 to the shadowed part and tried Mandi-Lee's tutorial for the wings as well.

I am back after taking a month of cards, blogs and all thing craft I figured it was time to start up again for the year..

I have change my blog still not happy with it but with the three kids I don't seem to get the time it takes to play around with it so it enough, I will change a little bit more over the next few weeks till I am happy...

Now onto my card yes I have made one! it took two weeks to make

(not that it was a hard card just time poor).

I started this card for my oldest daughter to give to a friend I ran out of time (thank god for the stash I have built up), now this little card is going to have a new home next month when my youngest has a party to go to. Wow! a month ahead that's a good way to start the year..

I have used a digi from Saturated Canary and have entered it into her latest challenge punches and die cuts I have both a punches and a dies, I wiped the dust of my cricut and made the swirl die..

DSP is from Websters Page as well as the strip of ribbon in top corner.

SU! Black CS and Twill Ribbon along the bottom and other stamps.

Wild Orchid Flowers and the pins stuck into the flowers are from stash.

I have embossed the black flowers down the side of the coloured image..

Good arvo to all I have another X-mas card to show... Lucky I don't give to many out as I have only done 3 and Christmas is all but here...

This one was made for my two sisters I have made them a card to share this year with a voucher to buy a bottle of Bailey's to share as well, due to not being able to be together at Christmas this year I still get to have a drink with them..

This card is made with a mi of four digi stamps, The emerald Garden Faires Larakins, Steampunk Twisty Tree, KennyK X-Mas Accessories- Christmas Ball and North Pole Post. DSP is SU! and Digi sentiment is a Biz Bec's I think.. Hi all I have another card for you today.. I have made this card for a friend who is turning 30 and we have her party coming up soon, so I am getting in early with her card as I tend to leave it to the last minute...

I have also made this card with a challenge in mind my favourite challenge place these days Saturated Canary... I love these images and this one Zorana, a dancing gypsy. My daughter convinced me into buying after I said to her "that one would be a challenge to colour" so here she is my first attempt at Zorana and a challenge she was.

The challenge is to 1 image, 2 DSP and 3 embell... My 1 image Zorana, 2 DSP are K& Company Blue Awning and the green is MMI, 3 Flowers Metal & Perls...

Hi I have spent most of the day to myself and took the chance to make a card.

This one is made to enter the new challenge at Saturated Canary and a few others if I can find something she fits. I have used Penny A Ragamuffin.. She is so cute and after a few goes I finally coloured one that I would put on a card..

This card is also going tomorrow for Catlin next door for her Birthday... Not the best photo still trying to get that part right I can take photos of my kids but not my cards if anyone has a tip or two they could give me that would be great...

Good afternoon something new for you today.

I have become a new member of the Outlawz website in the last couple of days, this is a challenge website so if you like to enter a challenge or 2 go on over and have a look but don't take your time if you head over this week a party is going on with lots of prizes to be won... This card was a trial card for a wedding card I made (one of the post before today three). For a trial card it came out very different to the card that was given away but I still put the Newlyweds stamp on it anyway.. This card has a little of everything on it from embossing, sewing & distressing...

Good morning to all out there I am going to be quick to with my post because I have to go out and I want to get two post up for the day before I have to get ready...

So here is a card I made for a friend to give away as a wedding card I think she was happy with it.. I have found a couple of challenges for it to so that is a bonus...

I have used A digi image from Tiddly Inks called You and Me I love their images and have a very big list to buy...

for something different for me I have embossed the edge of the image to give it a bit more of a shine and kick. I really like how this looks and can see me going through a bit of silver embossing power over the next few cards lol...

All the DSP is Kaiser Craft love their 6x6 pads make life so easy...

Hi all I cant believe how fast the mths are going by. I have been very slack on my blog visits as well as getting the time to sit and make a card..

My first card made in almost 2mths, I sat down on Friday with my image already coloured and started putting this card together, I colour first and make my cards to the image, I know most pick the DSP first and colour to that, I am going to try it that way one day but for now just getting an image finished to place on a card is a challenge for me...

Mothers Day Stall

Good afternoon everyone I hope all is good in your part of the world.. Today is Mother's Day stall at my kids school and this year I have made Lavender puff's to donate with a small card attached...

I have made the little puff out of calico and died it in food colouring sewed on a button and made this little card with my new new Magnolia Mini World Princess Tilda from Bizzy Bec's.

I have used SU! DSP made it to fit the bag to dress them up and for packaging. My kids tell me that they where all gone when it was their turn to shop.. I am glad I keep one for myself lol.

Good afternoon all I hope everyone is having a good day, I am because I have had all morning to sit in a quiet house & make this card..

This is my second card made using the prismacolor pencils I am starting to get the hang of it but my camera (or maybe me not being able to used camera to it's full potential) doesn't seem to show the card for what it really looks like. I have taken a close-up of Kissy Mae to see if that helps, I don't normally enlarge my coloured images maybe because that shows all the faults in the colouring lol..

The parties have started for Charlotte again, another year of making cards & buying gift's. I have made a smaller card then normal not sure why just did & with a smaller card comes less add-on.

I have coloured Some Odd Girls Fairy Fly Away Mae in with Prisma pencils this is my very first completed image using pencils, I am normally a copic girl but wanted to try something new. I wasn't going to put this card on my blog or enter it in any challenges being my first but then thought we all have to start somewhere and it is fun to look back and see how we evolve over time so here is my, first I hope to improve with practice if you have any tips for me I would love to hear them..

Hi all blogger's out there that might be able to help me out..

I have been purchasing Digi Stamps and I print them but when I go to colour (with copic's) the ink runs..

Is there a special kind of ink I should have in my printer or do I need a laser printer??

I also like to water colour is this possible with digi's and if so how and what ink do I need for that in my printer???

I have a cheap a Hp printer not the dearest one..

Please help me so I can play with my Digi's:(

A new family member this is Jensen.. He is our new puppy Jensen is a Bichon Frise & is very lucky he is soooo cute because he is very naughty.. As you may or may not know my sister has just spent the last year travelling around Australia with her husband and kids. I got to spend some time with Michelle when they came through at Christmas time on their way to Melbourne to collect furniture they had in storage as they have decided to settle in Brisbane near my other sister Deanna..

Any way long story short I got to sit down with Michelle to look at some of the amazing photo's she has taken of this great country of ours & I wanted to share my favorites one's with you. I would love to get some comments on them as I am trying to work out which one I should get printed onto a canvas for myself..

Hi all I am sorry for my absence I know it has been a long time in between post I hope to be back posting soon.. I have been flat out with SU! demo's & classes plus trying to get my Personal Training business (Fitalicious) up & running, whilst keeping up with family commitments so playing time has been few and far between for me.. We have also had a sick puppy dog over the last couple of mths & last Wednesday we had to say good-bye to our beautiful boy Jet he was only 6yrs & to young:(

So I just wanted to drop in to let you know that I am still here & hope to be back in the swing of things soon. I hope everyone is well & I look forward to have a blog surf tomorrow..

Last week I went blog looking at all my usual haunts & came across a digi image fromKennyK on Cheryl's blog (My Cardmaking Haven). I loved what Cheryl had made I purchased a few & cased her Allura Von D card, I hope that is ok Cheryl:)

I have made these using silver bookmarks I brought from ebay awhile ago, when I had a plan to make them for my Twilight books, my sister Michelle is also waiting on hers to be made, (sorry Shell side tracked)...The beads are a mix of mine & a friend Julie we have been having fun trying to look like we have some idea of what we are doing.. I love the Tinkerbell charms I think they are great for little girls and getting them to read..

I have paperpieced Lilith with SU! DSP for something different.. SU! ribbon & button's.

My friend Tamie gave me the Black Lace used for the base of the card she has stiffen the lace so it holds to the cardstock or you can cut out the flowers so many ways to use it. I don't know how Tamie has done it, but if you want to know email me & I will ask her for you, the photo does not do Justice to this card & the Black Lace.

So the one with Betty is for my sister Deanna & Tinkabell is for Katelin.

Deanna's has hanging red & black beads, this is one of my first attempts I will post more soon I am going to try some Twilight inspired ones. Who knew beads would be so fun to make.. I have them hanging on every thing now from my phone, bags, wallet, & my daughter who started me on them also has them attached to everything, as she was the one who got me started..

Hi I am entering another Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge. This week is Challenge #3

No Designer Paper Make Your Own.

I wanted to enter this one as this is a challenge I have never attempted before..

To make my DP I have use tissue paper and stamped Whisper White CS, then covered the CS with the tissue paper to give it a soft look, inked the edges as I do & a bit of tread to finish it off.

This is my own DP:)

I have used Lilith again because she is the only stamp I have at the moment & because why wouldn't you she is just gorgeous. I have added a satin ribbon to some lace & sewed it in as well.

A Masqueradea Party

My oldest Michaela has a Masquerade party tonight.. We brought the Mask from the Riot craft shop & I have painted it with Making Memories red paint & Glimmer Mist (Peppermint Stick) which has given it a real shimmer but the photo is not picking it up.. I have used rub-ons on the side (old Basic Gray) and Feathers I picked up from the local scrap shop.. The Mask is held on by adhesive, we took the ugly elastic off & I sent her off with the roll & a pair of scissors..

I have made a card to match Michaela's mask to keep with the theme of the party I hope her friend likes it all I know Michaela did..

I was still making the card as they where walking out the door to go so I didn't get a photo of Michaela but I will when she gets home will post it tomorrow...

Challenge card

I had some unexpected spare time today, so I put it to good use (no didnt do house work)I finished a card that I started yesterday, to enter into this weeks

Welcome to Colour Create challenge.. For this challenge the colours are Mint, Chocolate & Cream. Chocolate wasn't a problem for me but the mint was a huge challenge as this is not a colour I would buy or use very often & I didn't think about this yesterday when I started colouring my image from the Greeting Farm TT-Izzy.

I still cant seem to get my skin right, one day I will get it. I do tend to learn by repetition:)

The stiching is all done by hand with cotton thread, I love sewing on my scrapbook pages so why not bring that to cards.

I am very nerves about this challenge as I want to be able to do these stamps justice & bright is not my thing, I love pink & green together but yellow is not a colour I would normally use.

Hi this card is for a challenge from the Secret Crafter blog. The rules are you can only use shades of grey, so black through to grey other than the face and skin area's. I am very much over doing skin colour it just seem to be something I cant get other than that I am very happy with this card..

Black & White would have to be one of my favourite colour combo so when I came across this one I could resist..

Getting a head start

I found a challenge to enter through the week, it was a colour challenge the colours where: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette & Whisper White. This is what I came up with but I missed the dead line for the challenge I think.

This is also a Mothers Day card time to start getting a head as I tend to leave things to the last minute.

Yes another Birthday party to go to this weekend. A boy card this time & I will have another for you soon with another party coming up in the next couple of weeks..

I was inspired by Kristy Young & her great boy cards for this layout. I have used my new toy the Cricut to cut the oval around him note to self cut then stamp in future, I am a little of centre with my cutting I am sure I will improve with time and lots more playing.. I had a shocker with my colouring, my skin colour ran out & it is one of the colours I don't have a refill for will be getting onto that.

I have used a mix of items some are from old scrapbooking items I have had for years like the Chatterbox, Making memories 6x6 papers & the Philip's head screw eyelets.

The base of the card is SU! Bordering Blue, Jumbo eyelets, Chocolate Chip Ribbon & Sincere Salutations Stamp Set.

Hi sorry it has taken me so long to post any thing new...

I just want to start by saying I have had a blog background change I saw Kylie's new look and loved the background she had picked so I went for a look and could resist this one, so I hope you like the new look a change is always a good thing I think...

Now back to the cards... Charlotte has another Birthday party to go to this weekend I know and there are two more invites on the fridge. There are two cards this time as they are twins & newkindy friends for Charlotte.. One twin likes Pink & the other likes purple I am not to happy with the colouring but these are the only images I have as I stamped some of fromJackie's when she lived here & these were the only one's I have left.

I have use a mix of brands for CS, items and stamps, I have coloured with copic's

It's Party Time Again

I have two cards to show today they are Birthday cards that I made yesterday.

Yes it is that time of year the Birthday Parties have started already this one was for Charlotte's friend Victoria..

I made the card & then we went out to purchase the gift, Charlotte picked a Fairy book & when we got home the card didn't seem right for the gift so I started to make a more Fairy like card.

I like both cards, but it turned out that the fairy card looked a bit old for a 5yr old & the other card didn't look right at all for a little girl who likes fairies & I was out of time to come up with another one. So in the end Victoria received the Fairy card her mum liked it:)

I found this one very very hard to do, I struggle entering challenges on the best of days but these colour's I really struggled with. This is the first time I have ever used copic's in a challenge as well I know I have a lot to learn here:)

After a very long 18mths I have finally updated my Canon camera to a new Canon 50D. I don't normally put this kind of thing on my blog but I am a little excited and it is to hot today to take it out and have a play.

Hi I am back for another year of blogging fun & this is my first card for the year..

This is a Birthday Card for my niece Katelin it is her birthday in about a week.

Happy Birthday KT..

I had fun making this card using some old scrapbooking products that I found when I was cleaning up my scrap area, it was good to use some of my other products on a card. As I tend to keep my cards & scrap pagers very different.

I have also used the SU! Chunky Sprinkles I have been looking for a reason to use these sprinkles for some time now but never found the right project. Here I have used them as a border and think I will be doing this again it is very cute way the add bling to a card..

I hope you all had a great Holiday and I would like to thank you for visiting my blog over the past year and enjoy coming back this year, I hope to be able to add more projects on a regular basis over the year as it looks like I wont be studying this year:(

Christmas is coming

Ok this is my last post for a few days as I am flying out to Brisbane to spend the weekend with my sisters. I am packed the ipod is charge and the only thing I have left to do is work out what book I will take to read while I sit on the plane in peace & quite with NO children, & I don't have to worry about what the kids are doing, who they are annoying, stop them from fighting you know all the good things that come when travelling with kids.

Sorry back to my post this is a quick gift tag I made this image if from my friend Jackie's I am not sure where she got him from. It is getting to that time of year when time runs out fast and we get less done due to end of year commitments, so I have started early & over the next few weeks I will post some of my Christmas cards I have been working on..

I was in a SU! swap recently and Mel sent out a great transparent card (I think that is what it is called please feel free to correct me if I am wrong:). Charlotte has a fairy party to go to today so I have made a fairy card to keep with the theme. As you can see not the best looking fairy, I am still learning how to use my copic's, I have tried to colour her in like the one from the Suager Nellie blog but I am a long way from that.
