Look what came today

Look what came today my very own Shaggy Quilt I am so very very spoilt. My very talented mother in-law made this for me.

I know not everyone has or gets as many quilts as my kids, hubby & I do & for that we are very grateful & we love them all so much (or should I say I love them so much:)

I wanted to post my new Shaggy Quilt to show off how spoilt I am & how talented Beryl (Mother In-law) is I have been telling her for ages that she should sell her Quilts. They are all designed and made by her & I ask you if you are reading this & you like this Quilt can you please leave a comment for me to pass on to her, I am sure she would love to hear from you. A small Thank You

I made this gift and thank you card for a friend of a friend who stood in line from 5am to get us Pink tickets, we had great seats right near the front & a gret night. This was the least I could do for her to say thanks I hope she likes them.

Birthday take 2

Another Birthday to go to this weekend & I didn't have much time to get a card ready so I have copied the last Birthday card I made just this one is for a girl. I know very slack of me & I haven't even tried to change it up:) but I do love the All in the Family for these little B/Day cards.

This is my son Ethan.

This is a page that is done on SU! products but has random chipboard I found in my stash, I have said it before I know but I love build-a-brads they would have to be my favourite item at the moment. Like many of my pagers this is a very basic page but I like my photo to be the most important part of my pagers ad I love this one of Ethan.

Used:  CS: Bella Bleu, Not Quite Navy,Kraft.  Stamps: Friends 24-7.  Ink: Basic Brown, Chocolate Chip.  Other: Build-A-Brad, Linen Thread.

Crayon Resist Technique

I found this Crayon Resist Technique on YouTube last night and had to give it a go, it's very easy to do here is my attempt at it. I will be trying different ways to do this technique over the next few weeks.

Used:  CS: Certainly Celery, Basic Black, Glossy White, Whisper White.  Stamps: Pick a Petal, Sincere Salutations, Sanded.  Ink: StazOn Black, Basic Black, Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery.  Other: Basic Black Ribbon, Designer Brads Filigree, Brad Vintage Black, White Crayon from my kids collection:)

I was playing around with my new stamps & watercolor paper today while I was waiting for a friend to come over & this is what I came up with. 

Techniques: Watercoloring, Embossing & Brayered.

Used:  Cs: Very Vanilla,Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Watercolor paper, Bella Rose.  Stamps Circle Circus, Animal Crackers, Sincere Salutations.   Ink: StazOn Black, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Bordering Blue. Other: Clear Embossing Powder, VersaMark, Markers More Mustard, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, Taffeta Ribbon Kraft.
